My math was 5% over spot. With executive and Citi cashback, it works out to be about 1% over spot. Only downside is you have to get above $2,000 of bullion in California for it to be exempt from sales tax.

This is about $34/coin for silver Eagles, which is about $2 above spot price. American Silver Eagle is the gold standard in the silver coin world. You can't compare ASE to other silver coins.

I only purchased 3, which was enough for me to avoid sales tax. I'm sure there were lots of people who bought at the max 10 limit since they are sold out now.

For those who know how to sell these, it was an easy profit since they probably knew where to sell ASE above spot.
