Another plus for me is that the openpro2 use usb c for charging instead of their proprietary thing

Having shipped to missouri since I'll be visiting family and it's free s/h. The Pro 2 Mini's gave an error on the phone so I'm on the phone with them now placing the order.

Those are the OpenRun Pro, not the OpenRun Pro 2.

The OpenPro 1 were as low as $120 I think and you can get that price again by using the same BLUE25 code from NFM on the v1. The V2 are newer and haven't been discounted broadly, the lowest i've seen was $150 from Best Buy (and they have a specific color i think).

V2 is supposed to have much better sound quality, so this is the lowest i've seen so far. Would be awesome if Amazon matches, but unlikely.

The mini open run 2 are much nicer then the 1st Gen. Unfortunately I bought a cheap lite free2 from soundpeats to hold me over until I could find a deal on the pro 2 and I realize while not as premium, they do the same thing for $30. For open conduction they all sound like crap. And the pro 2 use speakers just like the cheaper air conduction headphones. So really, your paying for design and comfort.
The soundpeats are multipoint, air conduction, have an app, firmware updatable. Sound is actually louder then the openrun pro 2. But man, those shokz are super premium and comfortable after a few hours.
I'll wait until a sub $100 deal.

I've got the first gen and they hold up well, seem to be decent quality etc. I think we'll definitely see sub $100 on v1, refurbs are already that low. Might be a while for v2, will check out the soundpeats, for the price sounds like a decent backup

Yeah that's how I viewed them at first. They compete with the tozo open real. These knockoff companies are starting to actually get competitive! So much so paying over $100 for a name is crazy. The cheaper headsets do the same thing and if I lose or it breaks I'll be OK. I liked them so much I bought the Open pearl which are open conduction buds that hang off your ear. They are different remind me of the Open fits I used to own. But now it's hard to dump my backups because they are so good!

Came to $144, free shipping to Des Moines, IA. I like that this has USB-C over the older proprietary plug.

Not sure, happened to come across the code today while checking prices on the OpenRun v1, and realized it works with v2.

The USB-C plus the better sound quality are the big plusses of the v2. I've uses my v1s enough, but really don't like keeping track of the proprietary charger. One less thing to worry about if these new ones use USB-C

YMMV does not ship to many states, doesn't tell you until after entering card info.
