Here in the Washington/Maryland/Virginia are all the Ford dealers seem to be offering this deal. $2900 on the standard and $32000 on the premium including all the incentives - $10000 to $16000 off? At least that is what they are advertising, but I am not interested enough to go out and haggle with them.

Absolute junk car, its well known to be the most unreliable vehicle you can get. and its the most unreliable brand. The fact that you call this a solid car is a joke.

Without haggling?
Like walk in to a dealership and get this at the price you are suggesting?

I agree what a failure in engineering Ford is splitting up companies due to these failures. Sad to see where the EPA has ruined America. It's not even environmentally friendly.
What about corn subsidies, ethanol subsidies and farm subsidies that the govt has had for years? And subsidies on drilling licenses, land?
Those are fine I suppose...

Thanks I'll stick to Toyota for hybrid.

Mazda if I want to avoid any cvt transmissions

And for anything EV I'll go with Tesla and get a model y.

Stick to the brands that focus on their specialties

Its a PHEV hybrid. The first 37 miles are electric and the rest gas. If you do local commutes, then this is a viable option.
That's true short commutes only

Wish these had a bigger battery, like for 50-60 miles. I have a 2019 Fusion Energi that Ford is going to buy back because they had a defective battery recall and don't want to make new parts. The buyback seems to be fair.
Are they giving you back full purchase price, im in the same scenario

Being an owner of this PHEV 2022 model, I hate it for the amount of recalls Ford continues to have on their PHEVs which ends up taking a bit hit on depreciation as every freaking recall gets reported on Carfax for the car when you take it to service. I got rid off this crap by eating 2K out of my pocket to save the hassle in the long run. 2 years of ownership is tiring enough for this PHEV.

So, if anyone is financing these, please do your research on Ford forums before pulling the trigger to avoid buyers remorse

Sorry if dumb question but if someone was more rural with limited charging options, could you buy and just drive this as a normal gas car? Would you still get some benefit from the battery if you never plugged it in? I am just confused on what I read when I googled. It says the battery can charge from braking and the engine so it will just "naturally" charge while doing normal driving ? Is this still a good deal if used this way ?
even if you're rural you can plug this into a regular 120v outlet every night and be good to go

This is the correct answer after 9 pages.
Ford service is garbage also, the mach e still has an unfixable open recall where the car randomly shuts down and needs to be towed

$29K for an Escape 😂 GTFOH
You know this has a B&O stereo, heads up display, memory seats, independent rear suspension (unlike the CX50), auto cruise control, auto rear hatch etc. it's pretty loaded.

Compare that to the competition at $29k.

not discounted enough IMO.. I expect gas prices to drop and EV prices/values to drop too.

I love my volt with 55+ miies per charge + 42mpg hybrid mode. hope to add another BEV to the stable with 200+ mi range..

Is this found on the road dead, or is this model reliable? With all the new cars rotting in lots, why isn't this $29K pre all the BS incentives?
