I have been using hello for years. Recommended! Especially since it's cheaper than 'regular' cell companies. It uses the inexpensive prepay system used in Europe and Latin/south America. Haven't had issues with signal either. PLUS, can make some international calls for free with the app. - it can be used with e-sim or physical sim too. So not an outdated

I commented elsewhere in the thread but I'm on the same plan as this person and can receive pictures over text with no issues
