For those considering, the bucket is a great size and translucent to easily see water level with a sturdy made & sturdy closing top to keep all your items organized (bucket and top is $20 at amazon). Consider getting the dirt grid [amazon.com] that goes on the bottom ($10) which imo is the best one out there making this bucket system hard to beat for function and looks. The mit is decent along with the brush. While others will knock the products themselves, they work well for your starter kit and then upgrade if you want now that you have the essentials. Yes, you can get a $5 HomeDepot bucket and cut the top to make it smaller, so what you're paying for here is just a much nicer setup if you enjoy cleaning, want the dirt guard, or looking to give as a gift to a new car owner, with decent products.

Pro-tip, if looking to add one more product to finish off your clean car, get the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating [amazon.com] (which is currently on sale at Advance Auto [advanceautoparts.com]) where you just spray and wipe to get a lasting ceramic coating protection (~9 months for me) that's also hydrophobic against rain/water.
Thats a fake sale. It's been that price $38.98 before 2024 Black Friday. Walmart just put a fake $72.81 to make it look like a sale. I know because I been watching the item for a while.
Anyone who spent 96 dollars on that bucket of low performing junk has a screw loose

Chemical Guys' customer service is pretty "meh" if you have an issue. A couple of years ago, I placed an order directly through their website, purchasing several products, including a few that required spray bottles, such as quick detailer, iron decon, and interior cleaner. Unfortunately, none of the sprayers on ANY of the bottles worked. When I reached out to their customer service, I was told I would need to purchase replacement sprayers for the defective ones that came with my order. They did acknowledge there was a quality issue with their sprayers and mentioned they were switching suppliers, so the issue may have been resolved since then. However, this experience has completely pushed me away from ever using Chemical Guys products again.

Thanks for the advice. Been in TX a few years. Sun is brutal on my cars paint. Can you recommend a website for car care or line of specific products that you recommend, or stay away from? So much info but mostly people trying to sell you things. Thanks!
