I bought these almost 7 years ago for the same price. Used for numerous jobs, mostly car repair. No complaints, they're still in great condition.

Thanks OP! Nice for small jobs in tight spaces. Definitely more of a specialty tool because of its size IMHO.

I have like 5 of these in different tool bags. Much better grip than most pliers. Also, lightweight.

These are great to tighten appliance water hoses and stuff. Grips around the whole fastener and catches the grooves. Something my knipex raptors don't do in some cases.

I also tend to grab these much more commonly because they are 1/4 the price.

I have a similar button adjustable wrench from Kobalt that I find frustrating because they keep adjusting whenever I release and re-grab the nut requiring me to press the button and pull them back open again. I use my slip joint channel locks more often.
Has anyone purchased these and can comment on if this pair keeps "adjusting" smaller during use?

The Knipex Raptors are designed for things with flat sides, like nuts and bolts. You should really be using the Alligators or Cobras for round things like that.

I bought a two pack, one 10" and this 6" size from Lowes a few years ago. It only adjusts smaller if you push upwards on the rear handle or press the button to shrink it. So if you release and re-grab, 99% likely won't readjust itself.

I got these a few months ago. Well built but I did not check the size. These are like really small. Child size.
