I have an older 32 cuft and surprised the compressor runs > 80 % of the time. My garage Haier $300 fridge runs less than 50% of time.
Please provide some web links to prove your statements, because the last repairman I talked to just 6 months ago still saying that Samsung is the biggest trash you can get.

Don't give yourself an excuse maybe this model is different.
Only thing I have replaced is one of the side plastic containers on the bottom right (which are stupid expensive) but it was due to my own fault of having containers to big and slamming the door.
our 4-door fridge gave us issues just months after purchase - the internal freezing elements all go kaput. can't remember exactly what the tech said but something about how the fridge/freezer shares and overstresses elements because of it's multiple zones and interchangeable cooling/freezing bottom compartments. We bought the 5-year warranty from Lowe's. We had multiple issues and multiple techs come attempt to repair the 1st one. Eventually, they gave up, and gave us a replacement. 2nd one, the electric panel (motherboard?) went bad within a year - replaced with a 3rd. After 2 years of the same issues with the 3rd fridge, Lowe's gave us our money back. We bought a GE french-door. it's been better.
the side-by-side fridge leaked grease from the water/ice dispenser portion. then it leaked water (we had to keep a small cup there at all times). Then finally, the freezer exploded - the water line for the ice maker popped inside the freezer... just before this past thanksgiving. water sprayed everywhere inside the freezer and accumulated in the bottom tub where the turkey was, encasing the turkey in a 4-inch-thick block of ice. we are beyond the 5-year warranty, so I will thaw it out and attempt to repair it myself, or simply keep the water turned off and use ice trays and a brita pitcher.
I will commend Lowe's fridge warranty - they handle the initial warranty phone call, then contract the service out to local samsung licensed companies, so YMMV. But for us, they answered our calls, showed up on time, and were courteous and worked with us about resolving our issues and getting replacements for our fridges. shame I had to use them so many times.
The ice maker though can be beaten with a bat lol. It freezes up constantly, mines a little warped now because I've used the hair dryer so many times on it.
I have sealed the box with silicone and completely removed and dryed the internals. The only thing I don't know is these little metal clips in the back that I think drip water down off the element. Do they go behind or inside the actual ice unit. Mine are behind it because I gave up trying to slide them inside without them being pushed back.
I don't see where the ice maker is on the model shown. The ice trays are in the freezer which is a good thing, but I don't see where they are coming from.
