That is all. Gross and sad. $10 per month increase. Basically more than Comcast for me now. I use at a rental too so still prefer streaming. Otherwise I'd be reconnecting the cord.

But isn't it essentially cable, but better? I would expect it to cost roughly the same. I get it. No one likes price increases. The nice thing though is I just activate it for football season then cancel it which you can't do with cable. And I can watch it anywhere unlike cable.

this is not a deal. i remember when it used to cost $34.99 or so. a few years later it's now going to be $82.99. it sucks but still cheaper than Xfinity for me. i might switch to hulu or fubotv, they have offers frequently on Amex.

The majority of the price increases have to do with the cost of content. YouTube doesn't really have a choice. They either pass the increased costs on to consumers or face a blackout. Comcast would do the same once their contracts are up for renegotiation.
