Having never played a 3D Sonic…or really any after Genesis-era, is this or Superstars "better"? 80s/90s kid me never came close to beating any of the original three games. I see gameplay in 3D and it seems like an exercise in patience that is quite different than Mario in 3D vs 2D just given the whole emphasis on momentum/speed in Sonic games. I really think Frontier LOOKS amazing, graphically. Seems like Sonic's Odyssey. Superstars feels like a continuation of the original trilogy, much like Mario Wonder to Mario World.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Mario 3d was quite a leap in skills considering the n64 controller was horrid with only one analouge, but the first game to really pull off 3d with limited camera glitches. .

They tend to extremely dumb down 3d sonic to make it so it's not as hard as it should be. In other words: none of the 3d sonics have been like sonic. Some say this is closer to sonic than the other 3d versions ; but they would be neggin t/f out this game if it were sonic hard .
