Seems like a solid deal but not sure about quality. Have read mixed things about their PCs and warranty process.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Please keep in mind that these are laptop and not dektop components. I personally don't see value here when similar specs can be had for a very good quality laptop at the same costs.

Help me understand why anyone would pay $1200 for a mid range gaming laptop with no screen, speakers, input devices, or actual ability for mobile use? There are actual actual laptops with the same components, and more portability, for the same or less money...

Not even getting into the complete lack of any long term support and history of lying that has been proven to come out of Minisforum.

There is a specific market for this. I am currently piecing a new build together for the living room in my new house- need a lot of power in a small horizontal case.

To fit a reference 4080, I'm limited to literally two cases, and one of them would require modification.

This should vastly outperform any console on the market, with a very small footprint. Perfect for living rooms and home theaters.

It's basically a gaming laptop without a screen. You could probably get a similarly specked laptop for about the same price
