The Alternator Charger hack is back. While the price isnt quite as goods as we saw at $199, the hack is back to get it for a reduced price of $249

Go to EcoFlow.com -> Product Series -> Portable Power Stations -> delta 3 Plus. Click on option for just the Delta 3 Plus and below you will see the recommended addition of the Alternator Charger. Add both to your cart. Remove the Delta 3 to leave the Alt Charger for $249.

I was thinking about dropping an ecoflow into my new van build, but it kinda pisses me off that you can't just plug it in but need to spend another $250 to be able to charge it from the alternator.

Ecoflow is already expensive. They're really pushing me towards doing a DIY set up instead.

You can just plug it in to a cigarette lighter port but it will charge quite slowly. That's a limitation of the vehicle, not Eco.

Ok. So instead you can buy batteries, an inverter, converter, battery separators, and a DC-DC charger and build your own and then when you have electrical problems have to investigate yourself. The value prop with EcoFlow is it's all in one and doesn't require you to do your own build of all components. Sure you can do it cheaper. Cheaper isn't always better. Depends on your personal level of electrical experience and willingness to burn your van build down when you use cheap parts. Your choice.

Terrible take. You can charge your Ecoflow batteries using cigarette lighter plug cable. This is for fast charging DC to DC.
