I had a 3D printer years ago. Then I realized that 90% of what I printed was tools/parts to facilitate more 3D printing. I gave it away to a kid in the neighborhood.

The general consensus is the injected molded (usually nylon) blades on Amazon are usually better. The edge maintains condition much better and they are more durable.
The handle can be printed better though.
I like to use the printed blades for "soft" applications, like scraping caulking off baseboards/walls. If you try to dig into the wood the blade deforms instead. But they aren't as good for scraping algae off aquarium glass.

You can buy the blade set for $1 shipped at Aliexpress [aliexpress.us] if you are a first time customer/make a new account. I paid via Paypal $1.04. (I used simplelogin [simplelogin.io] to create a disposable email)

Seems like a decent/useful product but IMO it can be found much cheaper if you avoid the dropshipping shenanigans at Amazon...

Would these be good for removing stickers and residue from windows?

My Father-in-Law got all new windows at his house last summer but he never removed the manufacturer stickers so after several months of baking in the hot sun in 90-110 degree heat they're totally stuck and normal Goo-gone doesn't work. :-(

I use these blades on my 3D printer's build plate. I can scrape away as hard as I need without worrying about scratching the plate. Definitely has a smaller edge than you can probably print.

They should be but you need to use a strong solvent. (Surprised Goo Gone didn't work)

I recommend lighter fluid/naptha as it dries quickly and doesn't stain fabrics or paper. (Love to use lighter fluid to remove stickers from old video game manuals; doesn't always work of course but there's a good chance it will and won't stain the paper.) Just make that you use the lighter fluid in a well ventilated area and wearing gloves is not a bad idea either IMO.

Sometimes you need to scrape off the top layer of sticker paper and let goo gone soak into the actual adhesive underneath. A good tip for vertical surfaces is to soak a papertowel in goo gone and slap that over the affected area. Keeps it from running down.
As for the scrapers, have something similar. Love them in the kitchen for cleaning anything stuck on the counter. Even use them on the floor when the kids step on a berry and no one notices until it's a crusty lump stuck down there. Also great for cleaning hard water and poop off gecko/reptile cages.

I am sure these have a purpose that I am not aware of, but I remember buying a set of these at ACE because they were cheap, not realizing they were plastic and not real razors. I was extremely disappointed when I got home to use them and they failed miserably at the task I needed them for.

I thought the same but come to realize they're actually very useful. Mostly people buy them for 3D printing, but I use them throughout the house often removing stickers & food/random stuff from my walls (i have kids), standard razor blade duty on things like soft wood (that otherwise a razor blade might dig into), etc. ​

I use these fairly frequently to safely scrape gasket material from metal such as aluminum. Cylinder heads, intake manifolds, etc all clean up and I don't have to worry about using a harder razor that can scratch a sealing surface.
