Bought one of these a while ago on clearance for that price in store and it's pretty much similar to the name brands. Def a great deal

Can confirm these are awesome. Brought one in the past and ice last all day. Good for those who always want to stay hydrated. On that note the handle did break off about a year after buying but to be honest it can be used without it.

The popularity of these mugs only adds fuel to my theory that the US healthcare industry wants citizens to be fat to make money off of them.

I remember going to England and seeing how cheap healthy food was. It's literally the reverse in America and it seems like it's by design.

I used to have big mugs and would drink a ton of soda but long abandoned that. I see coworkers bring these things in and just shake my head. It's not good for you.
Agree Boss
But we can always fight the system by drinking water no?

So only soda can be used in these? What do those English people carry their non-soda beverages in? Because the internet says those Stanley cups are as popular, if not more, in England. The Olympic ones in France sold out within days.

Personally I use water + TRUE lemon or TRUE lime and use it all day. Sometimes iced tea. or coffee.

This would be an awful container for water, IMO.

Also, having a job where I carry water around all day, a 24 ounce bottle works for me. A 40 ounce cup is only good for a flavored drink or soda like if you refill it at a gas station. If you drink water out of it, more power to you I guess.
Depends on the water quality of where you work and the job you're doing. I see people bringing in actual gallon jugs, half gallon flasks or whatever. After drinking the water at work for 19+ years I'm already dead anyway so IDC. I used a 32oz and then a 64oz thing quite a while. I ran out of space in my small lunch bag so now I just use a squeeze bottle. Refilling every hour or two, or even a couple times an hour, is too much work for some people. Some drivers bring in 2+ gallon capacity so they always have access to water and refill it when they can.
