Can you if it says household income? I asked for my parents to get them discount on electric bill but electric company said everyone is included in the household. So if you rent a room and they make 100k you are automatically counted as making 100k+ even if they only pay you 500 in rent.
electric company terms are more different than gov assistance problems

Poof, suddenly every $1000 ebike is now $1750. Watch out for companies playing that subsidy game!

It just can't be great for the middle man. I can't tell if it's better to poor or rich. Meanwhile middle pays for everything including this..

You must not be poor

p. 4 in your link gives a bit more perspective. You can't be successful 100% of the time even if you do something that makes sense. If you do something that doesn't make any sense apart from some extremely unrealistic scenarios (ebikes helping anyone to break out of poverty lol) - you will always lose. Your link also doesn't show what would have happened if there were no breaks given.

and please lets stop making absurd comparisons among expensive gifts that are paid for by someone else (e.g giving ebikes). And just helping to reduce the costs for someone who actually is generating income, workplaces and prestige points for the country. because if you absolutely must choose one over another - I would much rather prefer working places further away that are unreachable for some vs tons of people on ebikes but no places to go.

Let's better compare something you can compare. E.g. spending a couple of mills supporting more bus routes so that transportation is available for everyone instead of some lucky few because that's where the actual problem is.
I'm curious. Are you against ev rebates as well?

I just don't understand why they're incentivizing e-bikes. Why not give incentives for regular bikes? The money would go a lot further and buy a lot more bikes. And help with fitness which might help decrease health care costs.

I don't have an opinion on that. I don't qualify for rebates, I don't think I will ever be able to afford a new EV car and at the same time, I will never go back to ICE regardless of rebates. I don't think I even understand the point of rebates tbh.

Can't, must own it for at least 1 year or you will have to repay.

More details here: https://www.abc10.com/article/new...6cd95a88fe

"Participants would need to own the bikes for at least one year. If they get rid of the bike, they would have to pay back a portion of the funds unless the bike was stolen, had major mechanical issues or was damaged in a car accident."
They won't track it though…

The real slickdeal will be on Craigslist or other online marketplaces that allow local listings where these will be listed at discounts by various grifters, either organized resellers for profit, or disorganized homeless for drug money.

If you do meet locally, conduct the transaction at a police station or somewhere heavily policed.

I guarantee most people in here punching down to the less fortunate that need help with transportation are some of the more privileged people from this country.

Brah you are in CA where min wage for fastfood workers is $20 or about 42k yearly for someone with no previous work experience .
Not even sure how one can qualify for the 2k free money because making 30k in CA is a performance with the high starting hourly mandated wages

https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/Fast-...ge-FAQ.htm
Most fast food places won't give above 30 hours to avoid paying for insurance.
