Although not a true replacement for cellular, it does automatically connect to and share the data connection through my phone. So if the phone is with me (always in my case), then the tablet works like it has it has cellular built in.

For me 10~11" tablet is perfect for traveling (limited luggage space and airplane tray space), and watching media in bed or on my laps. I find gaming on smaller tablets also easier, not having to move hand all over the screen to tap. Of course, eye strain on smaller screen does make it more difficult.
It all depends on each person's use case.

Just sold my Tab S10 Ultra 512GB + kb cover for $650 on FB, with only 3 hours on it. Most people just need a tablet for video and don't know the value of these so they can be tough to resell (eBay will be easier of course but...scammers). I bought the S10 as a Wacom replacement and it was great but then I happened to acquire a Wacom shortly after..doh! Great tablets but Samsung needs to get with the program and match their native external monitor performance to the SuperDisplay app.

In the same vein as your comment, you could get a gaming laptop that's functionally more useful than any tablet, Apple or otherwise, for around the same price.

I bought a 6th 12.9 ipad pro with cellular for like 600 but gave it to my 18 year son bcoz it just didn't make sense.... Neither a laptop or a usable tablet. It's more like a awkward tablet but a uncomfortable laptop.

I would buy thr discontinued Lenovo tab extreme 14 inch which has a real KB and this one has a soft useless KB for real work...
Yeah I got a Lenovo Tab 13 which was the largest at the time for way less than even this discounted price for the Samsung tablet. It's great for media consumption and the built-in kickstand is very useful for that. I've tried using other tablets for productivity but I'd much rather use a full fledged laptop or desktop PC. The Lenovo also natively doubles as a second screen attached to my laptop when on the road.
