Weight capacity of 500 lbs if you want an idea of how sturdy this is. We have a similar style and it's a good design. It's solid and can hold a large person while still being pretty compact. We have another one that's sturdy but it folds like a directors chair so it's more cumbersome to transport.

This chair sounds amazing, I just wonder how much it weighs. The camo design is not overbearing and looks decent.

I'm not a fan of folding chairs where you're seated "into" it, riding on a concave strip of taught fabric. The seat on this one looks to actually have a structure (and it's stronger, so the wifey can sit in ur lap).

If it's the same like the one I have it is heavier than a typical camping chair but not as heavy as the directors chair style one.

The fabric is more taught. I'm not sure what you mean by structure though.

The details on the website show Assembled Product Weight as 11.7 lbs.

For comparison, this cheaper quality chair ($8.98) that has a 225 lbs weight capacity is 4.4 lbs:

I got a Guidesman brand chair from Menards that looks similar to this in features (hard arms, thick seat) and it's the best outdoor chair I've ever had. I think it was $30-35 at the time. I don't even need any more chairs but I'm still considering buying a couple of these and selling/giving away others.

I bought 2 director chairs from Walmart and I don't like them at all. Too stiff and straight posture.

Seems like a sturdy chair. While the weight limit is impressive, it probably holds up to just tossing in the back of the truck well, too. In for one, thanks OP!

I bought a couple when they were $25, and they are fairly comfortable. They are all brown on the back.

Very timely; the fabric on the arms of our camp chairs didn't make it though the soccer season. I've been watching for a deal like this, so thank you PennyFound! In for two. 🙂

I see in the reviews that a few others mentioned they are "all brown" on the back, so apparently they are not as pictured. The other biggest complaint was no padding on the chair arms.
I guess there's just a little camo on the seat part, correct?

I think I saw these on Menard's website for $12.99 so you might want to check them out there!

This was the specific chair I loved from Guidesman/Menards: https://www.menards.com/main/outd...-13022.htm It's $40 plus delivery (if available).

They have cheapy camo chairs from Mossy Oak $13 and Guidesman $25 but those are just the normal floppy ones. They have the hard-arm Mossy Oak on sale ($50 marked down $30 plus shipping) but this is a better price at Walmart.

Oh. I didn't realize that was the crappy camp chair, thank you! Love the chair you posted!

So the two chairs I ordered arrived yesterday. Compared to the cheap Walmart ones, these are so much more comfortable. They are wider, so they don't squeeze your legs like the cheap chairs do. The back is also higher, offering more support. There is also some padding, not that it makes much of a difference. That being said, they are definitely heavier and taller (when folded), than cheap chairs.
