Was hoping YouTube Premium would run a $99 a year annual special on BFriday or CyperM. Nope. Cant afford $140 a year.

YT couldn't pay me to use YT Premium.

Revanced not only blocks YT ads, but Sponsorblock allows you to skip Youtuber ad reads, and them begging you to Like, Subscribe, and do the things the algorithm likes.

Plus you can block shorts, and other trash from your feed.

The benefits Revanced provides goes well beyond blocking YT ads.

Only Android users need apply.

I am still very resistant to the idea of paying for YouTube. I don't feel that way about "pure" streaming services, but for some reason paying Google for YouTube feels "wrong". Yes, I know it costs a whole lot of money to host several petabytes of video. Maybe it is because I was around for the YouTube Flash player days and 10 minute video limit. The ads are getting to be too much though. $140!

I've been using AdGuard and PiP safari shortcut for years on my iPhone , haven't watched a single YouTube add since. And with the PiP I'm able to continue listening to videos when the screen is turned off.

I got it on iOS, just requires a way to sideload. Cost $7 a year
