I made fun of my mother for using these, until I tried them. For some tasks like laundry these are a force multiplier. Or like if I want to check floors or under furniture before the robot cleans. Stuff behind dryer or fridge etc. Though the tips on these are a little too aggressive, they don't release some things easy like if you wanted to drop it on a basket or trash. Great for older people.

These are great and I keep them in several places around my house, but do know with the new magnet version you cannot grab things like say a box of tissue off a shelf(the width/heighth is too much) as you could with the old version that had the tips curved outward. Still has a million uses around the house, but I do find myself running to the kitchen for my old one pretty often.

They are often free at harbor freight, but they are both garbage. Spend a little more and they will not fall apart if you look at them wrong. In for 2!
