I bought the larger pack from Costco for my office but everyone (myself included) strongly preferred sticking with the Pilot G-2's we've all been using for years and years.

Good deal for 4, but it basically brings it to the same price as the 12 pack. Did anyone see if thhe S&S worked on the 12 packed? I impulsively bought the 4 pack.

I have to agree, the Sharpies were rough, not as fluid as others and I can't say I enjoy writing with them either, I'll stick with Pilot until Sharpie gets these to write better.

Definitely smears more easily than a permanent marker, Uniball Jetstream, and ball pen. Doesn't deserve the Sharpie name.

How do Pilot G-2s compare with Zebra .7mm?

The .38mm write better and are 1.52/ct (S&S) for the 4 pack or 1.08/ct for the 12 pack

Don't buy, they smear super easily. The Pilot G-2 gel pens are much, much better and usually a similar price. You might save 50 cents on these Sharpie gel pens but they're just not worth it.

Depends on what's more important to you. The G2 has cushioning for your fingers, but I find the gel pens smear, yet are smoother to write with. The zebra does not have any cushion but no ink smearing.

mmm. thank you for your insight. I've never even seen a G2 but now I know a little bit about it. I am familiar with the .7mm Zebras that i like so far.
