There was a time I really liked them because they stood by their products. Now they just sell overpriced junk. Only a few items are good but the prices suck.
Like so many businesses, the quality ain't what it was. My friend, now retired, spent his entire career in the "rag business", making garments, mostly shirts, for the likes of Bean, Lands' End, Sears, Penny's et.al. He says that today the only one that is close to quality of decades ago is Bean. which he buys on occasion.

I have purchased some "Cabella" brand shirts and vests over the past 10 years that is good quality. Land's End used to be high quality, too bad the change.
I will have to disagree with most everyone. T-shirts have been good, sweatpants are good, the winter coats are great when on a 50% or 60% discount, swim suits can't be beat at the end of the summer season, men's or women's cashmere lined leather gloves at 60% off is nice when they're in stock. Not everything is great but certain items are certainly worthwhile.
Returns are expensive but if you have a store near you, free returns.
