You do miss out on Dolby Vision on Samsung if it matters to you but it is a mini-LED unlike Sony. Sony is definitely better for processing. Both are really good mid range TV's. Can't go wrong with either.

Getting this over an OLED when there are options now at this price or lower with better rtings ratings is stupid IMO .

I got the S90D for less during the Black Friday deals but I think those deals are gone for now.

Depends - OLED is not that great for bright rooms (imagine high ceilings with 6+ windows). If, unfortunately, light might fall direct on the TV, OLED is not good at all. OLED burn in issues, need to baby sit how you watch/what you watch. Both OLED and mini-LED have their pros and cons. Normal living rooms (which has more light), mini-LED will win while bedrooms. darker rooms, OLED will win.

I have similar room and a 6 year old Samsung that's fine. I just dont see the point of non OLED not everyone has open windows with no blinds etc.

The only reason I did not because of quality concerns. LG is better ironically as 6 years ago you would hear the opposite. I also think LG has Dolby Vision S90D doesnt?

2 more points. Have you been in a Sams Club? Go look.
If any vendor uses Ceva logistics and you have a real job, you may as well cancel the order.

By the same logic, not everyone has closed rooms, with blinds closed all the time, and small-to medium homes. People who have large homes, e.g. TX, have huge media rooms with screens at 150" and immersive sound. The living room TV is almost always for generic streaming and sports. With high ceilings, large living rooms, lots of windows, sliding doors to patio/backyard, mini-LED works way better than OLED.
Based on your name, if you are in NYC, OLED probably works for you. Smilie

Dude just pay for your $1300 tv with mediocre ratings. The fed may lower interest so money is just toilet paper at this point.

P.S Im in the sunniest city in the USA, I have high ceilings, and no blinds on the top most windows.
My dim 6 year old tv does fine.
NYC is a farking shithole I ran from.

"My dim 6 year old tv does fine." - Still hanging on to a 6 yr old TV? If money is just toilet paper, why not buy a new TV? 🙂
