Amazon doesn't even price match themselves. They just tell you to buy and return.
I farking hate that. I've had to return a few things because of this. I've told Amazon too just credit me the money. nope I had to return stuff just to turn around and buy it again at the lowe price. I hate how Amazon does this

Same SKU / same box... just take the one you bought from Costco and then return it to amazon.... i don't see the issue with that
I got in trouble with Amazon for trying to do that in the past but you're totally right that they shouldn't be able to tell the difference with this item.

How do you see it on the app in warehouses? I just checked and all it's showing me is the bundle with poinsettia and tree for $80 and it never shows availability in specific warehouses.

ETA: Nevermind. Just found it! Thanks for mentioning that. For anyone else who has never done this like me -- click on Warehouse in the app and then you have the option to "Search Warehouse Inventory." Nice!
Thank you for the tip.

Maybe Walmart does this because they figure you won't waste the time to go back to the store, but I don't get Amazon. It's so easy to return things, and then they pay extra shipping costs and are stuck with a mountain of returns, I just don't get it.

I just had an issue with a missing brick from a rabbit build I was doing last night. I was so bummed out as it is important for the leg. Well it was super easy just went to the Lego site told them the brick that was missing and they are going to ship it to me FREE. Amazing. Thank you Lego!!!!

Ymmv but yesterday I got them to self-price match something I bought early November for about $100 more than the current sale price, took less than 5 minutes
