We've had one of these for 2 years. We rarely turn on our standard electrical oven. It takes up a lot of counter space but it's honestly worth it.

Bought one in October, had it over a month and the selector knob (toast bake bagel air fryer etc.) went. Did an advance replacement with breville.

Amazon reviews seem to indicate a lot of failures around three years. I bought a four year asurion plan when I got mine.

Love it otherwise. Hoping the early failure of the first one was a fluke.

Most major retailers currently have the same sale price. Check cashback websites for additional cashback. Macy's has 15% cashback and the same sale price plus $10 in Macy's cash for every $50 spent up to a maximum of $40.

So you could buy it for $299.95 with free shipping and get 44.99 cashback and $40 in Macy's cash to spend later.

PayPal payment using Chase Freedom would offer another 5% cashback on the sale price.

Fantastic oven. Had it for a few years now. Use my full size oven now to store pans and my Ninja fryer.

If the failure is complete lack of power, the culprit is undoubtedly the thermal fuse, the weak point of all these Breville appliances. We've had our Breville BOV800XL for at least a dozen years, and I just wired in a new thermal fuse a few days ago for the fourth time. I've also had controls get wonky, which thankfully can be resolved by cleaning the PCB with alcohol, much like you might do with a remote control. These aren't trivial repairs, so you need to be handy, but there are plenty of good posts and videos online showing you what to do.

My mother and I both have this but un-smart version, both several years old. The selector knob on both is a bit wonky, we've resorted to just scrolling slower which works for now.
There is a guide for replacing it that I found online somewhere (reddit maybe?) when it first started happening a couple years back, it is a bit in depth but I haven't had to do it yet as they both work decently.

I have this unit. It's a fantastic toaster oven, but not great as an air fryer. 100% recommend if you're in the market for a toaster oven only, but if you're looking for an air fryer you might be better off with a cheaper basket style air fryer.

Got this recently from TJ Maxx for $250 when it came on sale for $300 a few weeks ago. Very happy with it so far. Quite versatile, and the app tells you what rack to use, etc.

Great oven. We're on number three. But the convection fan bearings start to fail after about three years with daily use. Fan gets much louder and doesn't spin properly. It's a shame, because it's an awesome product otherwise.

I literally got one from Marshall's 3 or 4 days ago for $250. Marshall's TJ Maxx, and Home Goods are all part of the same company and have heard that all 3 have had them at that price. Worth a look for people if they have one nearby.

Thanks for info, was looking for a good air fryer for my mom. She wanted one, but a good one that can do it all.
