I have one of these. It's too zoomed in or it's field of view is too narrow. I can't place my finger on it, but I don't like it. I can't seem to zoom out anymore, either. I have a few Logi C920 and 923s Logi webcams with no complaints. These Brios ain't it.

Yes, the Brio 101 and Brio 301 have smaller FOV than the C-series cameras, with the Brio 101 here being terrible with 58 degrees of diagonal FOV. Although the super-cheap C270 has 55 degrees of FOV.
I think I bought one only to find out they can't do Windows Hello auth. Any suggestions on a cheap "name-brand" webcam with Windows Hello compatibility?

The cheapest name brand one that I found during when I was looking was Lenovo's FHD Performance webcam. It ran for around $40 retail priced, I bought a used ebay one for like $27 but didn't really like it. I however found that you can find Logitech Brio 4k used on Facebook Marketplace for 50-65 dollars and they are much better, and also 4k vs 1080p, with better software and mics.

Many people prefer the smaller field. Shows less background. Which means the perimeter of order is much smaller. (you can't see the overflowing laundry baskets)

You can do this on most cams to your liking by setting zoom. Not this one, just your face taking up the whole box which looks pretty dumb.

Avoid this one - not worth $24 considering the quality you get at this price point- add few more bucks and go for Logitech C920 or Anker C200. I own anker c200 as the software allows me to control FOV and have a slightly better microphone compared to logi C290.

I noticed that amazon has both the c920 and c200 for 60 bucks. Which one do you think is better?
