YMMV? After I registered, the link no longer takes me to the form, but instead to the general Chevy page. The link was taking me to the form regularly before I registered. If it doesn't work for you, try navigating through the electric vehicle section and hopefully it'll pop up, as thats how I originally found the promo.

QA note: see wiki for alternate option to get pop-up, if link doesn't provide offer

I've done this a bunch of times. Local dealerships also do it. I would suggest trying other brands too (Hyundai and Kia are big with these)

And yeah it really sucks to be "wasting" someone's time but that's the game. If they force you to test drive just be cordial and tell the salesman you're not interested quickly so they can get back to the floor. Never feel bad for taking advantage of a promotion that they use to trick people to buy overpriced cars that you can't afford.

Working for dealerships for more than 20 years. Most people that you will see there work on commission. And the commissions are usually based on profit. So in order to make money you need to sell the extras. Most cars have little to no profit. Especially evs. Invoice and msrp are usually the same. And in some cases the msrp is 5 bucks less than invoice. It's OK for a dealership to make profit and ask you to buy something. It's upto the customer to agree to make the deal or not make the deal. Alot of cars that you see huge dealer discounts are "loser" deals. The manufacturer does the rebates, any other discounts are directly from the dealership. So when you go online see a car priced alot lower than anyone else be prepared to pay for add ons.
No way this is true. Like every sale, profit is 20-30% or more. Of course saleman wont get that amount but saying invoice = msrp is totally not true

Next Steps: null < is that what it looks like - do they only care about CODE and PIN

Below you'll find your offer code and PIN. Present them to your Chevrolet dealer when completing your test drive to redeem your exclusive offer.

OFFER CODE: *************** < gave a 15 char code

Had the hardest time getting this too work - Used Firefox Incogneto and removed pop-ups - because regular Firefox kept going past the form - saw for 2 sec in Firefox

Expiration Date: 12/31/2024
PIN: **** < gave a 4 digit number
Next Steps: null - < is that correct - it should say NULL ??

Probably more annoyed at people just taking advantage of stuff they rightfully can because terms and conditions don't allow them.

Look, we work in retail, and most is commission based only. Give those people a break. If they look weird at you, just let them know you're saving them some time to find a real customer to feed their family. They'll appreciate it in the long run
No saleman appreciate customer. They probably forget your name the second you get out the door. So only your time matters? How about the customers' time. You lure them in with a quote and waste their time for not providing what you promise and added a bunch of nonsense add-on

Car should be like everything we buy laptop, phone, camera. You see the price, you can afford it then you buy. If you cant afford it now, wait for a sale. Even gold can be bought online at listed price.

Now look, imagine if everything you buy you need to go through saleman. Think your grocery items like milk, banana, yogurt to high end items like phone, laptop, camera.

You see $3.99 for a carton of milk but when you go check out, they says you need to pay extra for the carton thats holding the milk. You need to pay extra for the color/image on the container since its copyrighted. You need to pay for the ink printed on them. The barcode is also extra. The air inside container is nitrogen so that adds to the total price.

So dealer can just tell you to pound sand? sounds like the typical dealership experience, not sure if this is worth the time anymore lol
Again it's YMMV. I think my batting average back in the day was around .500 on getting these actually paid on a sample of 10-12 visits. Most didn't put me through the paces but declined because they had claimed that they had never heard of the programs.

Sweet, worked for me.

Went to Chevrolet.com, clicked on Equinox, then clicked on test drive. Then went back to home (without filling anything out) and it popped up.

Worked with pop-up blocker still active.

does it send any email confirmation? original link allowed me to submit my information however I did not get any confirmation on the submission... pls suggest

If we walk in to a dealer and ask them to "process" our code without doing an actual test drive, how will we know they'll actually do it after we leave?

I work for a Chevy dealership. Please just come in and ask for it with proof. Don't put a salesman through test driving something you have no intentions of buying
Have no idea why there would be 27 down votes on this. Even if you felt it could screw up your shot at your reward card, it's still not a bad comment for someone working on commission trying to avoid someone intentionally coming in to stroke him for an hour...
He wasn't being a dick he about it.🤷
