This is the way!
I did the same thing too - bought it digitally so I can have it ready anytime on PS4/5 but also bought physically for both Switch and PS4 because of MVC2's troubled history of getting delisted

Not for another 20 years thanks to social medium and online shopping. This game is widely available compared to the past from vintage console.
I'm buying this to enjoy the game on modern platforms. NOT cuz of resale value. Waste of $ to invest for unknown ROI unless u got $ to blow…and everyone is probably doing it too.
For example, How Mario 3D All Star doing? You know It got delisted right? Heck nobody cares if it $100 to buy because it is still on current generation.
eBay. Please. It a crapshoot. The value is determined by completed legal transactional price. Not asking price and definitely not $ laundering.
BTW eBay is NOT the golden standard to determine resale value. They're expensive for a reason NOT relating to video games.
