Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank johnny_miller
so you have to know which burger on which day to add before you get the deal?
Also it only deducts the base price of the burger, customization and toppings not included.
Still a great deal

I noticed that none of the burgers listed are over $10 (because then it would be a buy one get one free deal where the purchase up to $10 minimum could be a side and a shake). The Shake Shack in my area sells some close to $10 at $9.99. The two burgers that go over are the Black Truffle Shack Stack and the Shack Stack.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
Like going in to an iPhone thread and complaining there's no Android deals.
You don't have to comment on everything that you're not interested in.

Edit: I tried it in a location in CA because all the Shake Shack locations in my area are closed as of 9p.m. (I live on the east coast) and it does not work. The application realizes that a Smokestack is different than a Double Smokestack. I wish this would have worked though.
Edit edit: I even tried to add toppings to the "free" Smokestack and then tried to purchase another item or a combination of other items to get it less than the original price of the Smokestack with the added toppings. The application will subtract out the base price of the Smokestack from the added toppings price and add that to the $10+ total.
Shake Shack definitely did their homework when it came to deterring individuals who are trying to be slick with their application. You cannot fool it.
Now, write, that you live in a high cost of living area like CA and the free burger already costs more than $10 without additions, you could still get a buy one, get one free deal or better. All you would need to do is make sure the burger or the two or three items total you end up buying to satisfy the $10+ minimum, is less than the original price of the free burger for that day.

Say its a free bacon avocado cheeseburger for the day. I spend $8.50 on fries and a drink. Now I need another $1.50 or more to hit $10. I simply want to know if I can customize my bacon avocado cheeseburger to make it a double thus adding an additional cost , most definitely greater than the $1.50 I need to hit $10 so that I can qualify for the deal

Using your example, I am paying $10 for other items to receive a burger that is priced LOWER than $10? Arby's has better offers where the application gives you the free sandwich, no matter the price, and you only have to pay the difference between the free sandwich's original value and the minimum.

If there is a possible loophole that leads to someone ordering/editing certain items on a said app, that's that company's own fault for not hiring adequate app developers/engineers to design the app, addressing all possible loopholes. That being said, Arby's app developers/engineers were probably noobies in the game. Bush league stuff. McDonald's app on the other hand, was designed by the top app developers/engineers money can buy, thus being a fort knox of trying to find loopholes for free food and/or huge glitched discounts when trying to use their apps to order their food/products on the cheap. McDonald's app developers/engineers thought of everything possible, so no one could cheat profits from that well-oiled machine. Ray Kroc would be so proud.
