I have played lots of hours of this in multiplayer on Linux with zero problems so Steam Deck should work just fine.

Really fun game. Even at $20 when it was new it was worth that. $10 with all the updates they've added since makes it even more worth it. It's like a hard viking themed Rust/Minecraft. I definitely recommend looking up some kind of starter guide or at least looking up the different uses for the tools, because there are some useful things you do with certain ones that aren't clear or obvious.

Awesome game and even better co-op with friends but it's unclear when this game will actually be finished, it launched in early access Feb 2021 and was already in alpha for several years before that.

The game is already great and there's easily enough content to drop 100's of hours, but if you're someone who wants to play a finished 1.0 game, that could be another year or 2 off.

Steal at $10 though.

Valid points, and just to add for others reading - development has not stalled in any way. Since early access there have been regular updates adding new biomes and bosses. The last update added a new trader npc and several new mechanics, and the update before that was a whole biome. There's only 1-1.5 biomes left. The Deep North is the final land based one, and the .5 biome is just my interpretation of them wanting to redo the oceans environment. People have made tons of mods for the game as well. Seriously, great game.

Played this game to death early on. They've really dragged their feet with updates over the years, and it seems like the updates just added more of the same, with power creep.

The engine, IMO, is the biggest problem. Running a dedicated server with like more than 4 people can really make it struggle. It's just not fun when one bad connection ruins it for the entire crew.
