Watch out, the springs on the boom arm will reverberate so much. I have the same exact boom arm, and it is practically useless because of this problem.

I'm still looking for an arm for my Yeti. I was told to just get the cheapest Innogear one on Amazon.

Sound advice? I'm no pro streamer or creator but I have the Yeti gifted to me by someone and I could use it for PC gaming and maybe Zoom calls?

JM2C - gaming you're just better off with head-mounted gear. Yes, you're yelling and everyone in the house hates you, but to hear environmental sounds some games plus be consistently heard, it's the way to go.

For business calls, I find feigning microphone problems the best . . .

I have a pair of HD560S, so I do keep those on. I was thinking having the Yeti mounted would just be the final step

I had a really nice SHURE and ended up with a small mixing board and you're really at the mercy of what you're using for software.

So, streaming, games, etc. it was just an academic exercise in the end (I end up doing that with almost everything - I'm just far more determined than I am frugal). If you're recording for a video or podcast, it make sense, but a good room layout is as important as everything else.

Of course, it was to set up my son, so when it came to using it, I got more things for the lab downstairs 😁

It's like getting the wife anything with Bluetooth: was it ever for HER? Wink

I just realized I misread the original post and thought it was just a boom arm with no mic. I thought the mic in the pic was some generic one to show off the arm.
I might just go ahead and get that Innogear then. It's $20ish

That is a good find for the Logitech boom arm. I would probably add a shock/spider mount to give additional sound dampening in case you are typing while on a call.

I also have a Yeti and find the condenser design (versus dynamic mic) to be very sensitive to background noises.

This product is terrible. I highly recommend NOT to buy this boom arm. I bought one and immediately returned it. As the 1-star reviews say, the tension springs are TOO strong and you can't bend the arm at all.

lol, I fully agree. I bought it for my daughter and returning it. I have no clue how they released it. It's awesome and sturdy but does not hold the angles. Horrible tension as well.

The Logitech one is horrible. Will not stay in place. Too much tension. Returning mine.
