$10.39 per roll of black PLA Pro - seems well reviewed and not a bad price at all. Some reviews mentioned receiving cardboard instead of plastic spools and others mentioned receiving wet filament, but the customer service also seems good and responsive. Thanks OP.

Great product, I have recently purchased a 3D printer and out of the five brands I've tried so far this is the most consistent one.

This matches the black Friday $10 off coupon price. I can confirm it's cardboard spool that I received

I can confirm their customer service is top notch. This is one of the few Elegoo filaments I haven't tried yet (ordered it now), and all have been great except for one roll of white PLA (basic). I contacted them and after showing them proof of purchase and that I still had filament on the roll lol, I had a new filament roll at my door two days later.

Their CS may be overseas as their replies came late in the evening, but the responses came the same evening of my inquiry/s.

I love elegoo. My only complaint is pla pro is cardboard only in my experience. Pla+ comes in either, so I go plastic spool.

My other complaint is some inconsistent colors. I've had rolls of True Red be starkly different shades of red.

But print quality, I prefer elegoo lately.

Be warned-- you can save more with S&S, but I've had instances where Amzn ran out of stock before my S&S ship date and cancelled my order.

I rather go with cardboards tbh. I have a bunch of plastic spools laying around collecting dust.

My AMS units hate cardboard unfortunately.

There are clip on printable spool guides to improve cardboard in AMS. They just clip on to the rim and it's pretty close to a native plastic spool.

Yes but moving from spool to Bambu will come loose a little. or getting plastic only limits your options

I got their $10 PETG which also has cardboard spools. Two days in, I had 4 tangles in the first roll already. I've been 3d printing for I think 13 years now and that's a first. Prints well when it doesn't jam the AMS. I know I'll need to make those cardboard spool covers... EDIT: now 5 times

This vs their RAPID PETG, does anybody have experience with both?

If you put the cardboard spools in your ams without using electrical tape or an adapter, the roll may not roll properly and can cause tangles.

I use the one linked below. Quick print and uses very little filament. I printed in a few sizes as even within the same brand, the sizes can vary slightly.
