Otherwise, owning this TV has been a horrible user experience. First and foremost, the TV comes preinstalled with bloatware and all privacy settings need to be manually sifted through. There is so much telemetry baked into this bad boy. Some settings are inaccessible without Wi-Fi. In order to install apps on the TV, a Samsung Account is MANDATORY. Additionally, you must have it enabled at all times to use the said apps. Even if you click on your "Apps" it doesn't even show you what you have installed. You need to scroll down into the middle of the ad space to find YOUR apps, not the ones recommended by Samsung.
The Home screen is just one big giant FULL SCREEN advertisement that updates whenever connected to Wi-Fi. If you only want to see the apps YOU have installed, you need to scroll all the way to the bottom. If you want to uninstall or remove apps, you need to scroll past all the ads. The remote is horrible to use. The buttons feel cheap, and it takes numerous button presses to get anywhere useful. There are dedicated APP buttons on the remote for NETFLIX and Disney+, but there is no input button.
The TV will frequently install Samsung apps behind your back as it connects to Wi-Fi. I've owned the TV for two days, and twice needed to uninstall apps that somehow keep reinstalling themselves. This is not a TV. This is an $1,000K advertisement device that gathers your data. To make matters worse, all the apps you install also come with ads of their own. While you technically can opt-out of these shady business practices, Samsung makes it cumbersome to do so through their privacy portal, which redirects half the time and isn't user-friendly.
The picture quality leaves much to be desired. The blooming in bright scenes is honestly horrible and washes out a lot of the scenes. While I didn't purchase this TV through Amazon, I wanted to post a review here so others know what experience they are getting. For the PRICE, you are WAYYYY better off buying a different brand. They will still advertise to you, but they won't cost nearly as much ... and their UI/UX are better.
