Oh absolutely. That's what we are doing for our trip in a couple weeks.

You should order a gift card from the DisneyStore website so you have a good physical card that didn't come from a local grocery store or something.

You can then stock up on these kinds of deals. Ideally 10% discounts at least.

Disney has a site where you can consolidate gift cards, Disneygiftcard.com. You can register your physical card and then start loading it from gift card deals like this.

If staying at a Disney hotel and with magic bands you can have your charges billed to your room and then have the hotel use the gift card to pay off the charges.

There are other ways to use them with the vacation of course, but it's easier if you can either pay for the vacation package with discount GCs or pay part or all of your room charges with them. Beats having to bust out a GC at every individual transaction during the vacation.

Prior years I was able to place multiple transactions of 3 cards. Will try to see if it works.

You can place 2 order of three cards. After that it won't let you checkout anymore. Usually the limit resets after 24 hours.

Likely a super Disney noob question, but we're planning our first family trip this April. Should we stock up on these?

We just stock up on as many discounted cards as possible then consolidate them all on to one gift card which we then use as a part-payment on our annual Magic Keys. It's about the only way to discount the cost. You can use the gift card balance to offset the total cost, then spread the remainder over 12 instalments (assuming you live in California). It helped that Costco had some offers last year, sadly not this year, but BB has been useful!

Use doesn't include Disney+.
Is this true or did they change something? I was able to previously use Disney gift cards for Plus.

Yes, stock up and pay for everything with them. Dining, purchases, tickets, room charges, etc. Why pay full price when you can save 5-20%?

How do you get the PayPal offer? Do you need their credit card? I'm not seeing in my account
