The quality of this company is on par with noctua and 1/3rd of the price.

These are static pressure fans (highest I found on the market), the fins are designed to push through small spaces. Think, 4-5 hard drives stacked in a cage with only enough space for 5–10 sheets of paper between each for air cooling or the radiator for your all-in-one cpu watercooler. I have 6 of the max's in my 15 bay rosewill 4u server case. I only needed 3 they work so well. I run 7200 rpm enterprise drives and they dont move in temperature and the fans are basically idle at 1600-1800 rpm.

You don't need these for a standard case fan, but they will work. Arctic makes a different blade design for standard case cooling that isnt obstructed. The max's make fantastic exhaust fans and go with another model of theirs for intake fans.

Sorry for the amateur questions, but I have a HYTE Y60 case using all stock fans.

The side intake can fit 2x140mm fans and the bottom intake can fit 2x140mm fans. The back exhaust can fit 1x120mm fan (currently using stock. Is there a different one I should put there?) and the top already has a 360mm radiator for the AIO cpu cooler.

Should I get 4 of these fans for the side and bottom or should I get different fans?

I have the Hyte Y60 for my gaming case.

I did put two 140mm Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM in the bottom, blowing in. If you are having heat-soaking issues, I would recommend adding 2 140mm Arctic on the bottom and see if that solves the problem. If not, next replace the exhaust with a P12 and perhaps match it with arctics on the side intake.

Initially, I ran a 4080 GPU, and it would get a little hot inside the case since it was close to the glass/window. I was concerned I needed the airflow. When I upgraded to the liquid, that resolved itself. I had already added the bottom fans, they don't even spin now unless I am gaming. One more thing of note...I did have the feet extensions 3D printed to raise the case 1" from thingaverse.

That said, I run AMD 5800X3D with a 360mm radiator on top and an MSI Suprim Liquid cooled 4090 GPU (which exhausts out the side (rather than intake like most). This required me to modify the case quite a bit. I should probably post some pics.

As someone who has all Arctic fans and heatsink, I imagine Noctua is a bit better. Arctic is plenty quiet and durable enough though.

Their performance is on par with noctua, but not their quality.

I've killed several of these with 24x7 use after just a couple years, I've got all my noctua's going 5+ years.

from a 120mm arctic fan fan fan fan fan

they sometimes sell 5 packs so if you need many, look for sales on
5 packs as they sometimes are lower on each than sales on singles.

How do these compare to the p14 pst pwm?
These are pretty much p14 plus more headroom. Similar sound/performance up to the point where the p14 runs out of steam. Then this one will give you the option of significantly more airflow at the cost of noise.

For anyone shopping arctic p14 max, or really any arctic fans. Keep an eye on the 5-packs. Arctic sells it's fans at lower prices in 5 than it ever does for singles. In fact, it's oos now, but if you don't need em today, the p14 Max 5 pack has been in the low $40's all month.

I have both a pair of these and a pair of noctua fans in my NR200 case and these are definitely louder. The price on these is good though considering how well they cool and pull air through my case.
Do these have the odd resonance noises at certain RPM's? I don't mind if the noise is because they are moving lots of air... just already have fans making random rosonances I want to replace.

Arctic fans are the best. Went with P12 PWM version for a build. 3 at the bottom of the box. I kinda can't believe how quiet case fans have become. Couple with these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R1HV...asin_title

I'm stuck between these, the Be Quiet Pure Wings 3 and just regular P14s.
I have just one 140 Pure Wing 3 for my nzxt h6 flow and I would like two intake on the bottom and two exhaust on the top
