Heads up, we have had an issue with this fridge not cooling enough on the doors. Forget about putting dairy in the door bins. Service has been abysmal

we have a french door where the ice cubes are made in the lower level freezer. Something is malfunctioning and now the ice maker is not dispensing the ice (even though ice is still made) I thought LG was reliable but guess I was wrong. anyone have any brands that can last without issues?

I have this one and it's worked well for the past 2.5 years or so.

Only complaint is the design of the water filter receptacle is annoying but once you get the hang of it, it isn't a big deal.

The Whirlpool side by side without Ice makers are the most reliable, said the Tech who came to fix my Whirlpool Dryer LOL ( control panel died within 1 year)... on a side note the ice maker of my Whirlpool side by side died after 3 years. After a quick youtube, bought a replacement ice maker on Amazon and working fine now.
