For those who do not have a Microcenter near them, you should be able to price match with BestBuy. B&H might do the price match too but in the past, I had less success with them.
I spoke to Microcenter about the Space Black for $2699, and they said the Silver is marked as discontinued, so it is more discounted.
I did get the M3 Max 48GB 1TB 40-Core GPU for 2609 last week from Bestbuy (price matched with Microcenter). Have not opened it yet. So if these are discounted any more I might get this and return the 48 gb model.

Did anybody try to match this to get space black option?

But if you want little above than M4 pro, I would definitely consider this.
For regular browsing, max doesn't make sense. It will just give you good vibes that you're having Mac max cpu.
For video/photo editor and machine learning programmers/developers, this is very good deal
