Bought a couple of these a while back on a deal. I can't recommend them. They're not waterproof and they're not sturdy. A latch broke on each of mine within the first few weeks. They can't take a bump/impact, the latches are cheap plastic and shatter. The totes themselves have held up OK, but I have been careful with them since they had already broken.

These are not good. They are flimsy and not really lockable. If you want to lock something, you'll need to purchase 4 locks so as to lock each of the 4 holes, and unless those locks are very tight on those holes, it's still possible to get into it a little bit on the sides, so you better hope whatever you lock is big enough to not pull though the gap, which again can be bent because it's flimsy. Also the holes for the locks are pretty small so it better be small locks. If all your looking for is a box that is plastic and slightly stronger than cardboard, then this might help, but certainly don't use it for anything you actually care about keeping somewhat secured.

Judging from the reviews, no. Water resistant but not waterproof.

According to Amazon I bought it before so I started thinking. I bought the large size in 2015. Those have held up rather well

I was on the fence about it because it won't fit in the crate I have on my bike, but then I saw the orange one and I think it'll be worth it to find a new mounting solution.
Also got cashback through the other browser plugin bringing it down another buck.

FWIW, I don't have this one, but do have another size Plano. If you have a FDM printer there's some STLs out there for new latches. That's far from a recommendation to buy, but if you happen to run into broken latches, it can breathe a bit more life into them.
