To each his own. I'd rather pick this up for $162 refurbed than $200 from Logitech.
I have one (that I bought refurbished from Secondipity's eBay store awhile back for $182 after coupon, when they were still going for $299 new).

Yes and no, but leaning somewhat on the no. You can get some games to run really well without having to tinker with settings at all, but it's hit or miss (a higher percentage of miss, though). If you do some tweaking around with the settings, you can up the percentage by a bit. It really depends on the game. I play Castlevania: Lament of Innocence without a problem and can even upscale the resolution to 2x. Black, no matter what settigns I try, it simply isn't powerful enough to run that game. Kingdom Hearts 1, plays pretty well (though I haven't gotten far in it yet). Killzone, nope. It's a stuttery affair, no matter what settings I try.

It does PSP, Dreamcast, N64, PlayStation 1 (even upscaled for all of the above) and everything below very well. Then with the native Android games + streaming support (GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Streaming, Xbox remote play, PS4 remote play, Steam Link, Moonlight), I personally feel like I got my $'s worth, but my expectations for the price may be more lenient than others'.
I do play several of the PS2 games that I like and can get running on it on the G Cloud, and save the harder to emulate stuff on the Steam Deck.
So I wouldn't pick this up if playing the PS2 - or GameCube - library is a must-have for a person. You'll get -some- working very well, at most. It has the same processor that was used in 2021's Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.

To me, the best use of this is if you have a gaming PC and/or at least one console that you'll stream from, then also have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and/or GeForce Now to stream from the cloud too (a decent internet is a must). Maybe own some Android games too. Pair it with some emulation, and that's a lot of games you can play on this one device.

EDIT: A tip I picked up from YouTube for PS2 emulation on this (or any decice runnig the app version of AetherSX2 emulator) is to launch a PS2 game, bring up the emulator menu overlay, click on the icon that looks like the letter "I" in a circle, then try the Optimized settings or Fast settings options to see if either of those gets the troublesome games to a playable state for you.
I bought two from Secondipity last year and both were in perfect condition .. GD

yeah that deal didn't come out until a few weeks after i ordered mine. decidee not to return to get new because the refurb i got had a 2 yt warranty.

i'm considering returning for this one but i'm all set up and the refurb warranty is quite good so i'm not sure. i may try to get some sort of pricematch
