Just a heads up for those new to Peacock, "Premium" is the level that includes ads; "Premium Plus" is ad-free and costs more (which may or may not be possible to upgrade to through this freebie deal if you wish, I don't know).

I'm only mentioning this because there are always folks surprised that Premium has ads and thought it would be ad-free. I have Peacock and it's totally worth it (to me) to pay the extra to nix the ads.
Users can also select the Premium Plus option (without Ads), and then click on "Have a promo code?" and enter code PEAGZ7LNYFN44OEJ6 to bring the price of Premium Plus down to $6/month.
FYI tried re-using existing account and it didn't work

As an existing user with no active subscription, I was able to add this code to get 3-months free. Thank you!

Heads up as somebody with an already active, Premium Plus subscription that I am paying for, this deal worked for me as well. For the next 3 months I now don't have to pay the $7.99 Premium cost, and only have to pay the upcharge for Premium Plus. Pretty great deal!

Oooh, yay! My favorite price — Free-ninety-nine.

I don't like paying for things with ads, but I'll take it for free.

Free services are better than peacock.

Peacock and Max are alright. Hulu and Disney+ are practically eyeball cancer.

I still pay $1 every month for Hulu like a sucker. I almost fell into the trap of paying $3/month to get Disney+ but no.

Ad blocker on a computer works and mobile VPN to Switzerland removes ads for me.

So their basic tier filled with ads is now called the "premium" plan? No doubt some MBA suits at NBC came up with this deliberately confusing naming scheme. Lol these marketing execs are probably so pleased with themselves.

Have you attempted blocking it through the router?

Such a weak deal. I miss the Samsung Summer of Galaxy Rewards 2023 with
$30 Atom Movie Ticket Credit, $25 Xbox GC, 25, 6 months of SiriusXM Streaming.

The first two alone were already way better than this years' no deals.

The deals are so bad compare to 2023 that I literally bought no Samsung devices in 2024.

If they could give ad-free Crunchyroll for a month that would have been at least useful to me.

Peacock with ads has 0 value to me.
What does this have to do with Peacock in 2024!??! 🤣

I don't think that's new, pretty sure the name from the start always was Premium, and sounded like top tier at first glance. Probably becasue they used to have a free tier (no idea if they do), then the "premium" tier that cost a bit but still had ads (but more shows available than the free tier), then the premium plus that was ad-free. It makes sense in a way that's also misleading, lol. No biggie, folks that don't want ads should make sure what they're signing up for is ad-free, I always do 'cause I don't have patience for ads.

Coolio, I know some do that. I prefer to watch the way I do on my TV/roku, not interested in messing with a vpn for that (and my husband 100% would never use it if he had to mess with a vpn), so I'm willing to pay for ad-free. But it's certainly an option for those that prefer it.
