Fairly certain this 3050 only comes with 6gb vram which is well below today's close to standard for high quality games. Plus it isn't really a gaming laptop so your thermal throttling will be quite high. Not entirely sure but the 2060 mobile may also come with 6gb vram widely. I wouldn't be afraid to say the 3050 is worse in general performance for this particular laptop.
How is Lenovo's quality these days? Are these laptops in the same league as the old bullet-proof thinkpads?
Lenovo Ideapads were never up to Thinkpad standards, but still nice quality. I really like the 16" 2K screens, nice compromise, especially at the lower price points.

I bought this laptop during black friday. can't recommend it enough.
Screen is OLED 120hz and very bright. It has the updated 3050 with 6gb of vram and plays games surprisingly well. I can get 120fps stable in ow2 and deadlock after changing settings in game. I'm sure it'll run league/fortnite/val easily. Fans will start spinning as soon you launch a game tho, it's quiet during normal tasks.
Has a big battery, mine does 8 hours of media playback at max brightness running 120hz. i havent even tweaked it to be power efficient yet.
Surprisingly came with 3 months of gamepass ultimate that stacked on my existing account.
build is fanatastic, charges quick, not heavy. cant beat it at this pricepoint tbh.
Sure you could get a 4060 acer nitro or equivalent that is a 250 nits screen, plastic build and tn panel, that will probably run games better, but, this is an all rounder. sorry for formatting, typing on mobile. got mine for 680$ during black friday.
