Free credit and social security cards for ace magician, though.

The spyware records everything you type, including login ID(email), and password, and sends it to their host. very dangerous. I had a bad experience.

It's funny because this post spawned from this post linked below:

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/1039770

Anyone that mentioned a virus was downvoted.

Yeah, saw that in the other post (I commented there as well and was downvoted by several people). The fact that they have people patrolling these threads and downvoting anyone who mentions viruses/spyware/malware makes it even more suspicious. To those that don't know, devices from this exact company have come preloaded with viruses to steal your stuff. It's a fact. Google it. Now bring on the downvotes you criminal scumbags

These mini PCs should honestly be banned from Amazon and from Slickdeals.

Are these things at the bios level or can we just do a fresh install of linux or windows to take care of it?

Also, are the NICs intel or realtek? Would be a decent opnsense/pfsense router.

Edit: found the answer. They're realtek. bummer.

Most likely intel. I don't really ever see them having realtek nics.

It's OEM, so as long as you install the same version of windows, setup will automatically pick up and install as a paid version.

Not sure if the windows keys are in the bios level and if fresh install of windows will wipe away the keys.

The one I have doesn't have windows keys sticker or card. I installed Linux anyways on it and didn't check.

You could boot without the network as they suggest and get the key out and then do the fresh install. But, Linux is better anyways and you might as well enjoy Linux unless there is a special software that is not in Linux.

Is it not possible to build this say from microcenter? Guessing the price would be more than double though
