I bought one a month ago and I'M NOT impressed. It goes offline frequently and messes up your scheduled power on off operations. This also loses the power monitoring reason to get this. Only way is to hold the button and readd the device, which is a big pain in the arse.

Might just be you. Been running these for years, no issue.

I bought Kasa smart plug mini from 2021. I haven't had a single problem with smart capability or power monitoring. Maybe the new build (matter) is having issues?

I agree with you Smoky. I bought one about 6 months ago, and I have to reboot/reset it about once a month. Bought it to start using Matter. Maybe they can fix it in the future with a firmware upgrade, but not sure.
