Haha, yes my thought as well. I feel like it wouldn't have been that hard or costly to just run the tubing for water hook up, but maybe the market for this size fridge wouldn't have water hookup anyway? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, and if I have to supply my own water in a dorm (from a faucet filter), I'd rather fill it into a cold dispenser.

I'd prefer if this didn't have the water dispenser. Just another thing to clean (and eventually break). Much easier to just put a Brita pitcher in the fridge

I would assume with space limited, the idea is you fill the holder so you don't need to separately have a pitcher (or the Brita is a back up so you always have enough already cold).
