Just something to be aware of- LaView seems to rebrand cameras and NVRs from multiple OEMs, and they have different apps depending on the OEM. My LaView cameras from 5 years ago happened to use Raysharp cameras and used the LaView Now app and after iOS 18, the app is non-functional (can only view live streams, blank UI on playback or any other tab) and hasn't been updated in 5 years. I thought I was going to have to get a new DVR but then found another app, RXCamView in the iOS store which was able to connect to my NVR and use all of the functions again including playback and saving clips from recordings.

Yeah we're using LaView here and ours are apparently rebranded / flashed Hikvision.
I ran into multiple issues with their silly apps, their web interface no longer working, etc.
At this point I'd choose something else unless you REALLY don't care about long-term accessibility (in this throwaway world that's probably most of y'all).

At this price point...even if they suck and stop working...they'd make a nice visual deterrent, proudly on display up high just to give some a 2nd thought!
