It's a decent to good game, but not as good as previous entries in the series. It will eventually come to Xbox Gamepass Ultimate and EA Play on Playstation.

Picked it up locally for $30 and its been pretty fun. Never played the other games but I can see how people sink 150+ hours into the game, there's a ton of content. Story isn't going to blow you away but the gameplay is fun. I do recommend playing on a harder or custom difficulty because the normal is very easy.

Almost all the writers for the game have narcissistic personality disorder and can't help but write about their mundane personal lives.

They even wrote about an argument about a camping trip... These characters have lived outside before/camp very regularly and that they don't actually go on said trip. I can only interpret this as an actual debate the writer had with their friend or spouse and just inserted it in the game.

Don't buy. Game is a fantasy game that shoves progressive tropes in your face. You have a "non-binary" character on your team that lets you know every chance you get that SHE is non binary.

Don't let these Western studios infect your entertainment, sell you a mediocre product. Speak with your wallet.

Already $40 tells us enough about how good this game is. Guessing the user reviews are more accurate along with the poor sales numbers. Too many other games that didn't force a specific ideology on us that we can lose ourselves in.

Not true in terms of the dialogue. What is the problem of having a white, black, homosexual, heterosexual, non-binary character in a video game? By the way, characters like those existed in previous BioWare -an other developers- decades ago. It is now, with the nonsense "anti-woke" agenda that most of you have to criticize, instead of focusing in the game.

Because it's not genuine, it's not immersive. If I play a Black Panther game, or Far Cry 2 set in Africa I'm going to expect most if not all characters are going to be black. So you can go ahead and ignore this plague and buy products from these multibillion dollar corporate game studios, but I choose not to.

Nope. In fact, most of this "anti-woke" wave against anything that shows non-straight white men and barbie doll women in a video game, is in fact what is making the herd go against the game. In fact, Alyssa Mercante's review is what they have been using against the game and the "fake agenda" everyone is fabricating against the game. If people were fan of BioWare they know that they have been doing that forever. In fact, most of the "real hard core" fans of Dragon Age don't love the game because they don't give strong "socio-political" messages, just to please general audience.
If you have played the game -which I doubt-, and most of the people that have played, they can tell you it is a very entertaining RPG. Some might love the simplicity some might not like it, but it is not to give a 0, 1 or 2 to this game. The reason why it has such a hate is simply a matter of go against anything that talks or shows characters that are not part of their "mainstream" ideal.

You were the one complaining about "not being genuine, not immersive" when games, tv shows or movies were showing N.York or other cities, and you barely saw any talking character or person that wasn't a white character. OH, I guess there has never being homosexual people in the world until recently, because they barely have been showing them in the entertainment until the past 1-2 decades. So, they were not immersive for you either?
My point with this and my previous comment is that there is mob that goes now against anything that touches something that make a reference to sexuality, gender, looks of women, race, etc. It is not casual, it has been intentional and I can see the fruit of their labor. It is sad, that most of the people on either side of the spectrum can't think and value think for themselves, just because they are part of a cult that dictate them what they need to like or not.

The only cult side is that of the left buddy, sorry. We want games to be fun, it's pretty simple. We want our women beautiful heroes, and our men masculine heroes. There's a reason why games like Stellar Blade, Marvel Rivals, FF7 Remake, FF16, Black Myth Wukong and Warhammer 40k Space Marines 2 did/are doing well, and it's because they catered to the audience of the majority of gamers and made the game fun and the characters what we want to see. No one wants to see forced diversity for the sake of checking off a box. You are right, we don't want to see homosexuals in video games, I already see enough of that BS on TV and in movies. When I play Warhammer 40k and I'm Titus, I don't think to myself "Hey I wonder if this guy likes women or men?" You don't even have to mention it most of the time when it's not pertinent to the story. But Western Developers are so stupid and in your face about their politics, they have to let you know about it whenever they get a chance. I think for myself every time I purchase a game. Like Spider-Man 1 on PS4, I loved the game, but then Spiderman 2 comes along and has trans flags posted all over the place, makes you do side missions as a deaf black girl for diversity sake, uglified Mary Jane, and side lined Peter. So I spoke with my wallet and didn't purchase it. When Western studios figure this out, I will start supporting them again, but they are so arrogant in their thinking with their "don't like it, don't buy it" attitude, and when the game doesn't sell well, they still blame us for not supporting them.

They need to take a page out of Eastern developers books if they want to be successful. There's a reason why upcoming games like Assassin's Creed Shadows will bomb, along with games like Concord, Suicide Squad, Dustborn, Avowed, Dragon Age Veilguard, Forspoken, they all have a giant common denominator and it's forced DEI crap, and the uglification of female characters. So again, you can support this crap if you want, it's your money. But the MAJORITY of us gamers that have been playing since the 80's 90's will not support this crap. The audience/people they are trying to reach with these "messages" don't buy games, or support them anyways, so I don't understand why we cater to these crazies.
