Visited both HD and Lowe's yesterday. YMMV obviously, but Lowe's had a large number (and much better selection) of Xmas items for 75% off. They had a ton of lights and I got a bunch of C9 replacement bulbs for .98 a pack. 100ct white string lights were a dollar. They even had some extension cords marked down.

I must admit I'm surprised how much is already low stock or sold out. Maybe they didn't order so much this year.

I do know the cheap white lights have held up well for me.

If the saving's delta between 50% and 75% is only a couple of bucks, sure do it. No big deal. Otherwise, wait. This stuff isn't going anywhere.

Visited both HD and Lowe's yesterday. YMMV obviously, but Lowe's had a large number (and much better selection) of Xmas items for 75% off. They had a ton of lights and I got a bunch of C9 replacement bulbs for .98 a pack. 100ct white string lights were a dollar. They even had some extension cords marked down.

I only buy the C9 bulbs when they're 90% off, otherwise it's cheaper to buy a new strand at 75% off (like I got today at Lowes)
