I bought the Sennheiser GSP 600s expecting them to last a while. 1 year in the cushions on both ears separated at the seams and needed to be replaced. 3 months after that, the newly installed oem cushions blew out again at the seams. Soon after, the plastic that controls the adjustment broke. The whole thing just fell apart after minor use. Lost faith in Sennheiser after that. Anyone have any experience with these?
I have used Sennheiser 280 Pro and 380 Pro for years without them falling apart, so I would assume these are of similar quality and durability as they are aimed at production professionals, and are definitely not a gaming headset.
I do have a question about how hard you are on headsets that you're blowing out ear pads in 3 months, because I don't know that there are any headphones or headsets that are going to stand up to that.

I'm very gentle with all of my electronics which is why this caught me by surprise. I've been gaming on a desktop for 30 years and have used most brand mice, keyboard and headsets. My first time using Sennheiser and I was just really surprised at the lack of quality in the headset. I had no complaints about the audio though

I don't have any of the Sennheiser Pro headphones, but my Sennheiser HD6XX headphones are more than 5 years now.
I also have the Bayerdynamic DT770 Pro, and they're durable, although some people worry about their non-detachable cables. I couldn't stand their sibilance, though...

Sennheiser doesn't exist anymore. It was sold years ago.
