I tried both, I don't have camera to look at the cleaning results but IMO they are pretty much the same.
European cars have compact engines which deposits more residue due to less surface area. I have old toyota (newer ones got turbo engines too). so its not a big issue for me though.
Some prefer LM as it lubricates due to MoS2 they add. If you have never used it give it a try.
