since then i have moved on to a Makita cordless saw, hopefully almost as good durability. good tools, cry once and use forever.......until lost.
For the typical homeowner, this will last more than 1 lifetime.
For the contractor, this should net a solid 10-20 years of use if maintained well.
Make sure to have gearbox oil on hand. (SAE30 motor oil works in a pinch)
