Not possible for any new "laptop" concerned cpu since they need very high bandwidth. Look at this mf it has 8555mhz ram. The new age is seriously a dead sentence to all expandable ram design not only out of marketing but also technology.
They are the same. Maybe just people didn't eye on this as it's after BF and before Christmas. It's an okay buy for the price but I personally think lunar lake should be priced just as their accessor for 400 to 800

Do you have the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition? I do. I think you would be wrong to say this is a better display just because it has OLED. The Lenovo's display is one of the best non-OLED display's I've seen. Watch some reviews. I have a couple ASUS 3K OLED laptops and have had hands-on with a few ThinkPad P-series with 2.8K OLED, and the Aura laptop is just as beautiful -- inky blacks, vibrant colors, 120Hz screen. The benefit of the Aura is no burn-in (although ASUS has built-in protections against that) and also better battery life as IPS is more power efficient than OLED.
If battery life is important, the Aura is actually the better display.

Just to clarify, the RAM is not 8555Mhz. It's 8555MT/s (mega-transfers per second) which is a measure of the transfer rate, not the actual clock speed the RAM is running at.
This vs. the Lenovo 7i Aura also at BB? The Lenovo seems to have a better display but is it worth $150 more?
I don't have hands-on experience with this Acer but I do have lots of hands-on experience with other OLED laptop and with the Lenovo Aura Edition itself. I can say I am impressed with the 7i Aura Editions display. For a non-OLED display, it has the same characteristic inky blacks and vibrant colors (maybe more natural looking than OLED even), and the IPS display doesn't suck the life from the battery! I would almost say the display is the best part of the Lenovo, except there are lots of great parts to it.
I don't think you can go wrong with the Lenovo. There are currently open box Good and Excellent versions of the Aura Edition at BB for $770 and $800 I bought one of each for other people and both are pristine for $200 off the sale price making it LESS than this Acer.

Yep. I played with it thoroughly at best buy. Its a very good display for sure. Hard disagree on it being better than the 2.8K oled screens though.

I said it was better if battery life was important. How much time did you spend at BestBuy to determine the Aura didn't have better battery life? Seems like something that would take days of using in different scenarios on both laptops to determine that.

I see you post in every 7i thread. It sounds like you're trying to justify your purchase. Again it's an amazing laptop. What impressed me most were the speakers. Almost MacBook Pro quality sound.
Display quality without a doubt goes to OLED. Hell even Lenovo put an OLED in the 7i aura for the international market. I don't worry about screen burn in at all. I know it still happens but it's very rare nowadays. Life's too short. Enjoy the best of the best.

I post in the threads that I have extensive experience in, unlike some people. My opinion of the screen is shared by many if you bothered to watch the reviews I linked. You did read where I own 2 ASUS laptops with 3K OLED 120Hz screens also?
AGAIN -- I NEVER SAID THE AURA LCD IS BETTER QUALITY THAN OLED, DID I? I'm not sure why you keep accusing me of saying so? Maybe re-read my posts. Moving on now...

This has the better display as it is OLED.
