Trimmer lines are universal, one just need to make sure to get the right size. Common size are 65, 80 and 95.

Never used this string before but I swear by the STIHL X-Line string trimmer line in 0.095in (Neon Green). I got the 1558ft. spool that weights 5 lbs for around $60 from Northern Tool. I'll probably end up willing it to my offspring before I make my way through it.
